Welcome to Hawkeye ReConnect!

The University of Iowa has a long tradition of excellence in Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience research. With the help of people like you, our faculty and students conduct cutting-edge clinical research, which helps us to better understand brain-behavior relationships, and can inform practitioners about therapeutic targets. On this site, you will find links to our research labs, and information about some of the research we're currently doing. If you would like to join the Hawkeye ReConnect registry, please click on the JOIN TODAY button at the bottom of this page. Once again, welcome!

How to Register

When you click on the JOIN TODAY button, you will be directed to a page with more information about the registry and how to participate. A member of the research team will contact you using the contact information you provide. Entering your contact information does not commit you to participating in a research study. We will use this information to set up a time to discuss the study in person or via video call. You are free to decline participation in any study, and you may request that your contact information be removed from our registry at any time, for any reason.

What happens after I register?

After you have enrolled into the registry, you may participate in a clinical interview, magnetic resonance brain imaging (MRI), and blood draw. All portions of the study are optional. By participating in the registry, you may receive up to $130 in compensation and you may be eligible for future paid studies. Researchers conducting studies will contact you by phone, letter, or email as research opportunities become available. Study visits will be scheduled at your convenience, and will occur in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences located on the corner of Iowa Ave. and Gilbert St or in an agreed upon location. We look forward to meeting you!
