Welcome to Hawkeye ReConnect!
The University of Iowa has a long tradition of excellence in Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience research. With the help of people like you, our faculty and students conduct cutting-edge clinical research, which helps us to better understand brain-behavior relationships, and can inform practitioners about therapeutic targets. On this site, you will find links to our research labs, and information about some of the research we're currently doing. If you would like to join the Hawkeye ReConnect registry, please click on the JOIN TODAY button at the bottom of this page. Once again, welcome!
How to Register
When you click on the JOIN TODAY button, you will be directed to a page with the consent form for the Hawkeye ReConnect research participant registry. After reading the consent form, you can click on a button at the bottom of the page to agree to join the registry. You will then be directed to another page with the registration form. All information is kept confidential, and will be stored offsite on a secure, encrypted server. Registering does not commit you to participate in a research study - it simply allows us to store your contact information, so that we may contact you about exciting new research opportunities as they become available. You are free to decline participation in any study, and you may request that your contact information be removed from our registry at any time, for any reason.
What happens after I register?
Thank you for registering with the Hawkeye ReConnect research participant registry! Researchers conducting studies will contact you by phone, letter, or email as research opportunities become available. Study visits can be scheduled at your convenience, and will occur in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences located on the corner of Iowa Ave. and Gilbert St. We look forward to meeting you!
